Explosive Ember Chilli

This is a great looking plant! Really easy to maintain and it looks stunning with all the different colours of the leaves and chilli pods.

The heat levelfor this chilli is medium, the Explosive Ember Chilli is around 25,000 – 30,000 Scoville Heat Units.

When fully grown the Explosive Ember Chilli plant can grow up to 30 – 45 cm high and they stay small and compact. The pods are small in size. The colours of the chilli pods go from green to purple and then they change to red when ripen.  They are very light pods weight wise and are mainly used as ornamental or for drying. Originally from Mexico.  The chilli season lasts approximate 4 to 6 months under sub tropical conditions.

Flavour: This is a mild chilli with a sweet and fruity flavour to it. The outside flesh of the pod is mild and fresh going a bit hotter towards the middle & seeds of the chilli.
